When going through difficult periods of change, people often experience a period of reassessment. For many, this leads to a deeper connection with God and more understanding of the spiritual realm and its influence in their lives. My divorce, that happened in the same period as my youngest child left home, was the biggest challenge I have ever had to face. I found myself questioning my faith, and even discarding some of my beliefs. Those that remained have been strengthened.

What is true spirituality? I personally believe it is far divorced from dogma and legalism. I believe that a deeper relationship with God is what matters and that grace and love are most important.
